Drug and Alcohol Testing Compliance Services DNA testing a child

Drug & Alcohol Testing Compliance Services offers DNA testing for a variety of reasons.

DNA paternity testing is

• to determine whether or not a man is the biological father of a child
• proof of genetic inheritance
• beneficial for both parties in cases of custody, child support, and a variety of personal reasons

DNA tests processed through D.A.T.C.S. are

• admissible in court
• collected by trained professionals who maintain a strict documented chain of custody
Grandparentage Testing is beneficial in

• ascertain whether or not a child is your biological grandchild
• situations in which the biological father is not available for a paternity test
• DNA analysis from the father’s parents can establish the genetic link between father and child
Infidelity testing can be performed when
• faithfulness of one’s partner is in question and substantial forensic evidence has been discovered
•  suspicions have been aroused by finding a stained garment or other items that likely contain genetic material (i.e., saliva, hair, etc.)
By comparing the DNA from the forensic material with your DNA, we can conclusively determine whether or not you are the donor

Twin zygosity testing determines
• if twins are identical or fraternal

Zygosity testing is primarily used to
• satisfy personal curiosity
• for medical purposes
The result of a zygosity test allows twins to understand the truth about their own origin and identity
A siblingship test is used to
• identify biological sibling relationships between two people

Siblings who are unsure of their true parentage can
• determine if they share one or both parents
• also be used to identify an alleged father if the father is missing or unavailable for paternity testing

The parties involved in the DNA test include
• two alleged siblings
• a common biological relative (such as the two siblings’ biological mother, if the same).

In cases where the alleged father is deceased or missing, a DNA reconstruction test may be performed
Family reconstruction can
• provide greater than 99.9% probability of paternity
• be reached only if a sufficient number of family members with known relationship to the deceased (his parents, his siblings, his known children) are available for testing
